我的：Office 2007 is installed on my lab computer. My trouble is that when I open a doc or ppt document on my U drive, the program often warns me that the document becomes read-only and I have to save it as another name. That's really annoying and make my writing inefficiency :(
他的：While it may be annoying, it does not affect your writing, or the contents of the document, at all. Just save it immediately with a different file name, possibly just adding a letter or number to differentiate the file type.
If this is the biggest problem you have using new software, that is a lucky thing that takes very little time to accommodate.
难道我应该庆幸我很lucky因为Office 2007没有破坏我的文件？

I wonder if the letter would be the same if it was the dept chair who was complaining. :)
The answer is apparent. haha. 开始我以为原因是网路硬盘和本地硬盘的文件夹都是只读的。后来发现不一定，好像某些特定元素会造成这个现象。去microsoft网站上看了一下，有人也提出这个问题，但是没有解答。如果要support，还要交钱:((至少对我们这个Enterprise的版本有将近50刀的手续费。nnd，让我们为他们的bug花了时间精力还要交钱让他们搞定。
装了一个IBM Louts Symphony，咔咔。打开同一个文件，提示说有的formatting可能造成save的问题。不过这次可以保存了，让office见鬼去^_^。目前对symphony不习惯的就是不能用滚轮翻页，只能用左键或者键盘。回头找找有没有关于这个的设置。
对了，下载用了Java插件，被MacFee报告为病毒，我觉得这个网站是可以相信的，就把MacFee暂时喀嚓了。
